preclinics offers the customized immunization of various species (e.g. rabbits, sheep, goats, llamas, chickens). Our services optionally include the preparation of the immunogen or determination of the serum titer.
In addition to antiserum, we can also purify antibodies from immunized animals.
At the preclinics research farm we have the possibility to immunize llamas and alpacas. These animals are immunologically interesting due to their unique heavy chain-antibodies. These antibodies are subclasses of immunoglobulin G, which in contrast to conventional IgG lack the light chains. Please ask us for further information and prices.
